Abstract

The shortage of energy resources is experienced globally, due to exponential increase in the rate of energy consumption. Wind power is being adopted the world over as the most efficient power generation source that does not cause greenhouse emissions. With the raising concerns on climate change, countries are under pressure to turn renewable energy sources and reduce CO2 emissions. This paper gives the brief review of wind power technology and its potential in India.
